Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Tuba City, Arizona
Schedule: 4:00PM – 4:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Tuba City, Arizona. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments
• Work independently in completing nursing assignments
• Follow physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures manuals, and hospital policies
• Provide nursing support to individuals of all ages and their families
• Maintain current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Maintain current valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Obtain Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Heart Association within one (1) year of hire
• Complete Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) within one (1) year of hire
• Complete Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one (1) year of hire
• Complete NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within six (6) months of hire
• Complete Emergency Severity Index Level 5 training within three (3) months of hire
• Complete Patient Sitter Competency Training upon hire
• Maintain a valid RN license from any U.S. state throughout employment
