Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Potsdam, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $309 – $333/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Potsdam, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide inpatient anesthesia services including OB, epidurals, and general anesthesia
• Schedule and perform surgical anesthesia cases
• May involve supervision of CRNAs
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 10–15 patients
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or RQI)
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Be available for weekday call (3p–7a) and weekend call (Friday 7a through Monday 7a)
• Maintain board certification or board eligibility
• Maintain valid New York state licensure
• Ensure work history is current with no gaps of 30 or more days
• Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, dismissed or otherwise
• Remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility while on call
• Submit CV reflecting full experience history and any gaps
