Job Title: Scrub-Tech
Location: Calais, Maine
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $46 – $49/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Scrub-Tech for a temporary assignment in Calais, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Scrub-Tech:
• Responsible for the safe, sterile set up and handling of all surgical instrumentation during scheduled and emergency surgical cases
• Gather all necessary instrumentation and supplies noted on surgeons pick sheets
• Accept pressure assignments, clerical assignments and other duties relative to the department
• Maintain a high degree of confidentiality
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program with a current ORT certification required
• Current OR experience is essential
• Maintain current BCLS certification
• Communicate effectively with department personnel, hospital personnel, medical staff, and sales and repair representatives
