Job Title: Lab Tech
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 4-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $39 – $42/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Lab Tech for a temporary assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. These positions are 4-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Lab Tech:
• Perform tissue cutting and embedding procedures
• Maintain and utilize HT (ASCP) certification/licensure prior to start
• Work in a high-volume hospital-based histology lab environment
• Apply histotechnology skills in surgical bench/histology setting
• Utilize lab specimen management systems, preferably Epic Beaker
• Perform sitting and standing duties as required by the physical environment
• Apply a minimum of 5 years of HT (ASCP) experience in histology procedures (preferred)
• Maintain current and valid HT (ASCP) licensure throughout assignment
