Location: Bellingham, Washington
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 22-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $240 – $258/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB for a temporary assignment in Bellingham, Washington. These positions are 22-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OB:
• Provide OBGYN care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Work a standard 8-hour clinic shift Monday through Friday, 0800-1700, with 24-hour call responsibilities
• Participate in a 1:5 call schedule, including weekend call every 5 weeks (Friday through Sunday) and one day of weekday call per rotation
• See an average of 18 patients per day
• Perform OB/GYN procedures in clinic, Labor & Delivery, and OR gynecological cases
• Provide both rounding and admission services for inpatient care
• Care for patient demographics aged 16 and older
• Maintain active Washington State medical license (MD/DO)
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Work collaboratively within a practice of 5 other physicians/clinicians
• Demonstrate required clinical activity within the last 24 months, including a minimum of 100 OB patients (at least 15 Cesarean sections and 30 vaginal deliveries) and 50 GYN cases
• Float between primary and secondary locations as needed
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and credentialing requirements
