Job Title: NICU
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 14-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a NICU for a temporary assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. These positions are 14-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a NICU:
• Provide patient-centered nursing care in collaboration with families, in accordance with ANA Standards of Professional Nursing Practice
• Perform patient assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluation
• Work Week Nights & Weekends only, 48 hours per week with no schedule variations
• Maintain active RN licensure
• Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications
• Maintain current CPR and all specialty-specific certifications
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Complete required specialty competency exam, basic EKG exam, pharmacology exam, and core competencies upon onboarding
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements
• Complete required health screenings and immunization verifications including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, fit testing, and TB testing
• Submit two professional references covering relevant experience
• Comply with criminal background check requirements
• Complete all required onboarding documentation, confidentiality agreements, and compliance forms
• Maintain English language proficiency
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
