Job Title: Radiation Oncologist
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $325 – $350/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Radiation Oncologist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Radiation Oncologist:
• Provide locum coverage for current Radiation Oncologist’s vacation and leave of absence
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Manage a daily patient caseload of approximately 18 to 24 patients
• Operate Accuray equipment, including Tomotherapy machine and Radixact
• Utilize Mosaic system for documentation, with transition to Aria anticipated in September 2026
• Prepare for transition to Varian Linac equipment, which will be operational in September 2026
• Collaborate with support staff including Physicists (2), Dosimetrists (2), Radiation Therapists (4), Radiation Oncology APP (1), Nurse (1), and Patient Access (1)
• Maintain board certification in Radiation Oncology
• Hold or obtain a valid North Dakota medical license; IMLC considered if provider has an easily transferrable DEA
• Provide a minimum of 2 weeks of coverage per month consistently
• No call coverage required
