Job Title: Urologist
Location: Topeka, Kansas
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $317 – $341/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Urologist for a temporary assignment in Topeka, Kansas. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Urologist:
• Practice urology with robotic surgical training, specifically utilizing the da Vinci Xi system
• Perform pelvic floor reconstruction procedures
• Conduct 3 clinic days per week, seeing approximately 25-30 patients per clinic day
• Perform surgeries on 2 OR days per week, with approximately 5-6 surgeries per OR day
• Join a practice alongside 2 full-time providers
• Participate in shared call rotation with hospital coverage at 2 hospitals
• Provide coverage at clinic situated across the street from the hospital
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain board eligibility at minimum; board certification preferred
• Collaborate with 24-hour nurse triage team who handle first call
• Adapt schedule as needed to meet practice and patient care demands
