Job Title: CRNA
Location: Orange, California
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $186 – $200/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a temporary assignment in Orange, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide CRNA services with 12-hour shifts, with start times varying between 6:30a, 9:30a, or 11:30a
• Complete 2-3 weekend shifts per month as a hard requirement (3 per month if full-time, 2 per month if per diem)
• Send availability for scheduling; UCI will book shifts accordingly
• Work within a Medical Direction model with Faculty supervision; Anesthesiologist supervises up to 3 CRNAs at one time
• Function within a Trauma Level 1 facility environment managing high acuity, high co-morbidity, and critically ill patients
• Perform general anesthesia cases for orthopedic, gynecological, and general surgery procedures
• Demonstrate ability to manage trauma patients, particularly on weekends
• Maintain proficiency with Epic EMR for clinical documentation
• Collaborate with Anesthesiology faculty and resident trainees in an academic training environment
• Maintain current Board Certification
• Maintain valid California state licensure
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine and current booster requirements (no exemptions)
• Comply with flu vaccine requirements (no exemptions)
• Possess extensive Trauma Level 2 experience at minimum; ideal candidates will have academic Trauma Level 1 experience within the last 2 years
