Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a LCSW for a permanent assignment in Bethel, Alaska.
Responsibilities for a LCSW:
• Provide counseling and mental health services to clients experiencing trauma, depression, grief, anxiety, chronic pain, suicidality, and childhood disorders
• Utilize a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered approach in all client interactions
• Apply evidenced-based interventions including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Activations, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing
• Conduct screening, follow-up, crisis intervention, and brief therapy services
• Provide case management and appropriate referrals as needed
• Collaborate with primary care providers and medical staff within the Outpatient Clinic setting
• Perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, family, and group counseling services
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Work with diverse populations including different cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic groups
• Build rapport with a wide range of individuals and families
• Work effectively within diverse teams to build consensus and facilitate agreed-upon change
• Maintain valid licensure (LMFT, LPC, LBHP, or LCSW) and work toward or obtain Alaska licensure within six months of hire
• Demonstrate proficiency in organizational, time management, and prioritization skills
• Utilize basic computer knowledge and standard office equipment in daily operations
