Term: 52-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $191 – $206/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Hanover, Pennsylvania. These positions are 52-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide anesthesia services as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting
• Work full-time, 40-hour weeks on a 5×8 schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Provide anesthesia coverage for 6-15 patients per day depending on room assignment
• Care for both pediatric and adult patient populations
• Perform anesthesia services for specialty procedures including Orthopedics, Gynecology, Eyes, Endoscopy, ENT, Dental, and General Surgery
• Operate under medical direction at a 1:3 ratio in the regular OR
• Work independently (solo) in the Endoscopy suite with an anesthesiologist available in the building for backup support
• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain current and active CRNA board certification
• Maintain a valid Pennsylvania license or compact/IMLC licensure
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Complete credentialing and privileging requirements, with full compliance due two weeks prior to start date
• Submit Social Security Number, photo, and PATCH results within 5 days of signing
• Complete Child Abuse Search and schedule Department of Human Services Fingerprint collection
• Meet all health requirements including vaccines, physical, and fit testing
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
