Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $296 – $319/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide anesthesia coverage at a community hospital and surgery center in a general anesthesiology practice setting
• Work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with weekday and weekend call coverage from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
• Serve as solo MD/DO coverage during call shifts
• Work collaboratively with CRNAs/CAAs or independently as needed
• Perform a variety of general anesthesia cases including general surgery, gynecology, OB, vascular, urology, neuro/spine, orthopedics, ENT/dental, EP, and GI
• Administer epidurals, spinals, and regional anesthesia
• Provide cardiac coverage including open-heart procedures and TAVRs (not required for general locum weeks/call)
• Utilize TEE skills as required for cardiac coverage
• Treat patients of all ages, including healthy pediatric patients
• Document and chart using Epic EMR system
• Maintain board certification as an Anesthesiologist
• Hold a valid Wisconsin state license or IMLC
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Comply with annual influenza vaccination requirement or provide an approved exemption
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Maintain a clean background for temporary privileges
• Ensure CV is submitted in mm/yy–mm/yy format with explanations for any work history gaps over 30 days
• Return any issued equipment at the end of assignment or be subject to financial responsibility for unreturned items
