Job Title: Cardiologist
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 6:00AM – 6:00AM x 1
Term: 1-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 – $332/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 1-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Cardiologist:
• Provide General Cardiology coverage in both clinic and hospital settings, including procedures and call
• See 17-18 adult patients per day in a clinic with 1 full-time physician
• Work in the lab 3 days per week alongside APP support with Interventional if covering General Cardiology
• Provide 1 week plus 1 weekend of coverage per month
• Perform and/or interpret special procedures including nuclear reads, stress tests, TEEs, cardioversions, and echo monitors
• CT read skills preferred
• Round on weekends as needed (average callback: nights 0, weekends 0)
• Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and charting
• Maintain Board Certification (BC or BE) in Cardiology
• Hold and maintain active PA license or IMLC/LOQ
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiology
• Comply with all credentialing and privileging requirements, including full compliance due 2 weeks prior to start
