Job Title: OT
Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OT for a temporary assignment in Grand Junction, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OT:
• Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs to help patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills
• Support participants in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life through therapeutic interventions aligned with interdisciplinary care plans
• Conduct home-based safety assessments to promote participant independence and quality of life
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions in the day center setting
• Coordinate durable medical equipment (DME) and other supportive services
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that empower participants to safely remain in their homes and communities
• Help improve participant strength, mobility, daily living skills, and confidence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Travel locally between therapy gym, day center, and patients’ homes as required
• Maintain current NBCOT registration and Colorado Occupational Therapist license
• Apply 2-3 years of Occupational Therapy experience, particularly with older adults or geriatric populations
