Job Title: PT
Location: Lewiston, Maine
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PT for a temporary assignment in Lewiston, Maine. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PT:
• Provide comprehensive physical therapy services to patients
• Perform evaluative and therapeutic procedures under the order of a physician or other accepted healthcare providers
• Observe precautions, indications, and contraindications during patient treatment
• Evaluate and treat patients per department protocols
• Establish therapeutic plans of care, including long and short-term goals
• Deliver PT services within a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
• Partner with patients and other healthcare providers to maximize patients’ functional abilities and independence
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Maintain valid Physical Therapist licensure in the State of Maine
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in high-stress situations
• Function as a responsible and supportive team player
