Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Gouverneur, New York
Schedule: 12:00AM – 12:00AM x 2
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $130 – $140/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Gouverneur, New York. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Maintain current EPIC charting system experience and proficiency
• Submit CV showing experience and gaps within 30 days, including RTO and malpractice review with physician explanation
• Complete NameClear process prior to submission
• Pay application fee upfront prior to starting assignment
• Provide qualifications, privileging, and compliance documentation as required
• Remain within a 20-minute radius of the care facility while on call
• Adhere to travel and lodging reimbursement guidelines, including submission of itemized receipts for all travel and lodging expenses
• Book flights at least one month in advance when possible and select the lowest available airfare meeting business travel needs
• Travel via coach or economy class only for all domestic and international flights
• Obtain pre-approval for any airfare $500 or more prior to booking
• Return rental vehicles with a full gas tank to avoid additional service fees
• Submit original receipts for all transportation expenses including tolls, rental vehicles, and miscellaneous transportation
• Comply with on-call requirements, including remaining in-state and in-country during on-call periods
