Pay Rate: $130 – $140/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Physician Assistant (PA) for a locum tenens assignment in Massena, New York. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Physician Assistant (PA):
• Complete NameClear process prior to submission • Submit CV showing experience and gaps, 30 days availability, requested time off (RTO), and malpractice review with physician explanation • Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC charting system • Pay application fee upfront ($75 for APPs and $150 for MDs) and submit receipt for reimbursement on first paycheck • Meet all qualifications, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements prior to performing services • Submit itemized receipts for all travel and lodging expenses to be eligible for reimbursement • Book flights at least one month in advance when possible and utilize coach or economy class only • Obtain pre-approval for any airfare costing $500 or more before booking • Utilize the most economical rental vehicle available and retain original receipts including rental agreement details • Obtain pre-approval for SUV rentals during November through April • Purchase CDW and LDW coverage when renting vehicles • Return rental vehicles with a full gas tank to avoid additional service fees • Submit mileage or actual gasoline expense reimbursement requests for personal vehicle use at the approved standard rate • Retain original receipts for all miscellaneous transportation expenses including Uber, taxi, bus, subway, metro, ferry, and car service • Remain within a 20-minute radius of the care facility while on call and refrain from leaving the state or country during on-call periods • Retain original receipts for all road, bridge, ferry, and tunnel toll expenses
