Job Title: Cardiac Tele
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:00PM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $81 – $88/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Cardiac Tele for a temporary assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Cardiac Tele:
• Care for critically ill patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab undergoing Interventional Cardiology and Endovascular procedures
• Assigned STEMI call with a 30-minute response time
• Apply preoperative and postoperative skills in patient care delivery
• Monitor and manage sedation of patients during procedures
• Utilize advanced hemodynamic monitoring including IABP and IMPELLA
• Manage patients on ventilators as required
• Maintain valid RN licensure in the state of Ohio
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Utilize EPIC, XPER, and Change Health Care systems for documentation and workflow
• Sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently, including extended periods of standing
• Lift 250-300 lbs. with assistance and push/pull up to 500 lbs. with assistance
• Work in an environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, chemicals, and cleaning products
