Job Title: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)

Pay Rate: $130 – $140/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) for a locum tenens assignment in Massena, New York. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP):
• Complete NameClear process prior to submission • Prepare and submit a CV showing experience and gaps within the last 30 days, including RTO and malpractice review with physician explanation • Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC charting system • Pay application fee upfront and submit receipt for reimbursement on first paycheck • Meet all qualifications, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements prior to performing services • Submit itemized receipts for all travel and lodging expenses • Book flights at least one month in advance when possible to avoid premium airfare pricing • Travel via coach or economy class for all domestic and international flights • Obtain pre-approval for any airfare costing $500 or more before booking • Utilize the most economical rental vehicle available and provide original receipts with required rental agreement details • Obtain pre-approval for SUV rentals between November and April • Purchase CDW and LDW coverage when renting a vehicle • Return rental vehicles with a full gas tank to avoid service fees • Submit original receipts for all miscellaneous transportation including Uber, taxi, bus, subway, metro, ferry, and car service • Remain within a 20-minute radius of the care facility while on call and refrain from leaving the state or country during on-call periods • Submit original receipts for all road, bridge, ferry, and tunnel toll expenses
