Job Title: Oncology
Location: Bozeman, Montana
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Oncology for a temporary assignment in Bozeman, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Oncology:
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation (Assessment)
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues (Diagnosis)
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or the situation
• Develop a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes (Plan of Care)
• Implement the identified plan of care
• Employ strategies to promote health and a safe environment
• Systematically enhance the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice
• Attain knowledge and competency that reflects current nursing practice
• Evaluate one’s own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards, guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations
• Interact with and contribute to the professional development of peers and colleagues
• Collaborate with patient, family, and others in the conduct of nursing practice
• Integrate ethical provisions in all areas of practice
• Integrate research findings into practice
• Provide leadership in the professional practice setting and the profession
• Maintain timely completion of all required education, trainings, and certifications as assigned
• Demonstrate sound judgment, patience, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Exercise tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintain confidentiality
• Perform essential job functions successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Utilize computer applications and office equipment proficiently
• Apply strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
• Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team
• Plan and implement patient and family education
• Assess patient and family needs and initiate appropriate interventions
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned
