Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Eugene, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:30PM x 2
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $222 – $239/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Eugene, Oregon. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide inpatient Behavioral Health Consult & Liaison (C&L) services as an MD/DO
• Perform rounding and admissions for adult inpatient population
• See an average of 15–20 patients per day on busy days
• Work 10-hour shifts from 7am–5pm
• Cover 2 weeks per month, preferably as a 7-day stretch every other week (Monday–Sunday)
• Work within a 32-bed inpatient hospital setting
• Collaborate with other providers as part of a team (not a solo provider)
• Demonstrate provision of inpatient or consultative services for at least 30 patients within the past 24 months, or completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research within the past 12 months
• Provide case logs or quality profile documentation to demonstrate required clinical activity
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Comply with flu vaccine requirements (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation (preferred)
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation tasks on first day of assignment
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
