Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $49 – $53/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Zanesville, Ohio. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Work primarily on Medical Surgical/Observation units with occasional floating between various Med-Surg units (Surgical, Respiratory, Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, etc.)
• Work 36 hours per week on night shift (7p – 7:30a)
• Work every third weekend as required
• Maintain current Epic EMR proficiency (refresher classes or 1:1 assistance are not available options)
• Maintain active BLS certification
• Maintain active Ohio LPN license
• Apply a minimum of 2 years of current/recent hospital experience
• Manage a patient load of 5 patients under RN oversight
• Demonstrate ability to read Telemetry (competency will be tested on day one)
• Maintain IV certification
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
