Job Title: Optometrist
Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $117 – $126/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Optometrist for a temporary assignment in Allentown, Pennsylvania. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Optometrist:
• Assignment duration of 6+ months in an FQHC Clinic setting
• Support a new clinic location with general cases
• Adapt to an average daily census based on growth (comparable location sees approximately 32 patients per day)
• Complete one week of EMR training and shadowing prior to independent practice
• Spanish-speaking ability is highly preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Local candidates strongly preferred; travel costs are not covered and are the responsibility of the provider if traveling
• Anticipate a credentialing timeline of 60 to 90 days prior to start
