Job Title: OB Nurse
Location: Sweetwater, Texas
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a OB Nurse for a temporary assignment in Sweetwater, Texas. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a OB Nurse:
• Provide experienced Labor & Delivery nursing care in a rural hospital setting
• Manage approximately 30-40 deliveries per month
• Care for antepartum, postpartum, and nursery patients
• Perform OB circulator duties (preferred)
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Maintain current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
• Demonstrate intermediate fetal monitoring skills
• Adhere to a Sunday through Saturday work week schedule
