Job Title: PCU
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $62 – $67/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PCU for a temporary assignment in Corvallis, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PCU:
• Provide direct care or influence care for acutely ill patients who are moderately stable with an elevated risk for instability
• Deliver care through advanced knowledge and experience in a progressive care setting
• Perform advanced monitoring, assessments, and interventions for PCU patients
• Maintain current unencumbered RN licensure
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• Maintain current AHA ACLS certification
• Maintain current NIHSS certification
• Apply PCU and basic EKG experience in patient care delivery
• Comply with requirements for moderate complexity testing as outlined by the College of American Pathologists (CAP)
