Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Herrin, Illinois
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $52 – $56/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Herrin, Illinois. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Perform Registered Nurse responsibilities on the Ortho and North Surgical unit
• Work night shift hours from 1900 to 0730
• Work every other weekend as required
• Float to other Med-Surg departments as needed
• Float to clinically appropriate units within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain current ACLS certification as required by unit assignment
• Maintain current NIHSS certification as required by unit assignment
• Adhere to unit-specific certification requirements based on floating assignments
• Comply with all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Provide patient care services within scope of practice and demonstrated competencies
