Job Title: Lab Tech
Location: Hardin, Montana
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Lab Tech for a temporary assignment in Hardin, Montana. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Lab Tech:
• Prepare specimens and operate automated analyzers
• Evaluate test results
• Perform manual tests following detailed instructions
• Work in all areas of the laboratory, including Microbiology and Immunohematology
• Responsible for laboratory quality control, proficiency testing, and Quality Assurance
• Participate in facility performance improvement projects
• Work nights and weekends as included in the workweek
• Work unsupervised in an on-call situation
• Research and set up new laboratory procedures
• Operate computers, specialized analyzers, and equipment
• Maintain knowledge of CLIA, Compliance, and HIPAA regulations
• Work cooperatively with all departments
• Maintain licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist
