Job Title: CRNA
Location: Potsdam, New York
Schedule: 10:00PM – 6:30AM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $187 – $201/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Potsdam, New York. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide inpatient anesthesia services including OB, epidurals, and general anesthesia
• Schedule and perform surgical anesthesia cases
• May involve CRNA supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Must be comfortable working in a rural, critical access setting
• Manage a patient volume of 10–15 patients
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or RQI)
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Maintain valid NY state licensure
• Utilize Epic for clinical documentation and charting
• Work 6 overnight call shifts within a 2-week period
• Option 1: Work three consecutive 12-hour overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), selecting 3 nights between Monday and Thursday
• Option 2: Work an 8-hour day shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) followed by home call (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM), with post-call days off accommodated
• Remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility while on call
• Ensure work history is up to date with no gaps of 30 or more days
• Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, whether dismissed or not
• Submit CV showing complete experience history and any applicable return-to-work or malpractice review documentation
