Job Title: Oncology Nurse Practitioner
Location: La Jolla, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $113 – $122/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a temporary assignment in La Jolla, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Oncology Nurse Practitioner:
• Provide Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner services in a clinic/infusion setting
• See approximately 12 patients per day
• Work Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation and charting
• Provide infusion-related patient care, including pre and post-operative care
• Maintain active California NP license throughout the assignment
• Maintain active Board Certification
• Submit full work history in chronological order (most recent to oldest, including month and year) with gaps over 60 days explained
• Provide education history including Residency/Fellowship
• Provide active licenses and certifications
• Provide references, notable achievements, research, publications, and professional society memberships (preferred)
• Provide license verification documentation
• Provide 1st and 3rd party documents for malpractice claims if applicable
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and compliance requirements throughout the contract
