Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Pahala, Hawaii
Schedule: 6:00AM – 4:00PM x 6
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Pahala, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Must possess an active State of Hawaii RN license prior to start of assignment
• Must have at least two years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED)
• Work as an RPN covering ER, Acute, and Long-Term Care (LTC) areas within a small critical access hospital
• Cover all patient care areas as RNs are required to rotate across all units
• When assigned to the ER with no patients, provide backup support in acute and LTC areas
• When assigned to medication duties, pass medications and perform procedures for both LTC and acute patients
• Work 6 x 12-hour shifts (72 hours) within a two-week period with every 3rd weekend off
• Arrive the Thursday before the assignment start date to attend an employee health appointment on Friday
• Be aware that this is not a latex-free facility
• Understand that hours are not guaranteed
