Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Auburn, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $309 – $333/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Auburn, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide full-time anesthesiology coverage working 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with 40 hours guaranteed
• Cover night call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM as scheduled
• Cover weekend call in 24-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM with a 2-hour minimum guarantee when called in
• Cover a minimum of 2 call shifts per week, with willingness to take on additional call coverage as needed
• Arrive at the facility within 30 minutes when on call
• Check in and out with the Unit Coordinator when entering or leaving the facility
• Maintain a minimum of 2 years of Anesthesiology experience
• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Demonstrate proficiency in Regional Anesthesia and independently perform blocks
• Supervise anesthesia care teams at up to a 4:1 ratio
• Provide OB anesthesia coverage as required
• Hold a valid New York state license
• Maintain current AHA or RQI certification
• Utilize Epic charting system for all documentation
• Clock actual hours worked accurately, including call-back and overtime hours
• Adhere to scheduling, credentialing, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
• Remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility while on call and not leave the state or country during on-call periods
• Submit itemized receipts for all travel and lodging expenses in accordance with reimbursement guidelines
• Pay required application fee upfront and submit receipt for reimbursement on first paycheck
