Job Title: Anesthesiologist
Location: Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $308 – $332/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Anesthesiologist for a temporary assignment in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Anesthesiologist:
• Provide anesthesiology coverage on a full-time basis (40 hours per week)
• Work a schedule of either 5×8-hour shifts or 2×8-hour shifts plus a 24-hour shift to total 40 hours per week, with the schedule rotating each week
• Participate in call coverage rotation in addition to day shifts
• Support and collaborate with CRNAs and Anesthesia Techs
• Manage an average patient load of approximately 10 patients per day
• Provide anesthesia services for adult patient population; no pediatric cases
• Deliver anesthesia coverage across 4 ORs, Labor & Delivery, and Cath Lab
• Demonstrate proficiency with nerve blocks for orthopedic cases
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation
• Maintain board certification (BC or BE) in Anesthesiology
• Maintain an active Pennsylvania medical license
• Maintain active DEA registration
• Maintain current ACLS certification
• Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in anesthesiology
