Job Title: Mother-Baby
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Schedule: 10:00PM – 6:30AM x 5
Term: 9-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $75 – $81/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Mother-Baby for a temporary assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. These positions are 9-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Mother-Baby:
• Provide registered nursing care in the Mother Baby/Postpartum unit
• Work night shifts on a flex schedule, predominantly nights, 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts
• Work every weekend as required
• Work all required holidays with no exceptions
• Maintain and utilize documented EPIC EMR experience for clinical documentation
• Maintain active RN licensure (or compact license, if applicable)
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA)
• Maintain current NRP certification
• Apply a minimum of 1–2 years of recent Mother Baby/Postpartum experience in clinical practice
• Comply with all vaccination requirements, including flu and COVID-19 vaccines with no exemptions
• Complete required credentialing, compliance documentation, and onboarding certifications
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist, Specialty Competency Exam, Basic EKG Exam, Pharmacology Exam, and Core Competencies
• Submit 2 professional references and complete employment verification
• Comply with health history documentation requirements including MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, TB testing, and fit testing
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality agreements
