Job Title: Endocrinologist
Location: Rochester, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $105 – $113/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Endocrinologist for a temporary assignment in Rochester, New York. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Endocrinologist:
• Provide outpatient care with a focus on diabetes management
• Perform CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) analysis and insulin pump management as applicable
• See approximately 20-25 patients per day across 15 exam rooms
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system and AI ambient scribe for documentation
• Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm (8-9 hour shifts)
• Float to sister or affiliate locations 1-2 days per week as needed
• Maintain valid New York State license
• Maintain current AHA or RQI life-saving certifications
• Must be Board Certified (Residents and Fellows are not accepted)
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience
• Adhere to dress code requirements (scrubs or business attire)
• Follow call-in policy by contacting the practice manager directly
• Ensure work history is current with no gaps of 30 or more days
• Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, whether dismissed or not
• Complete all required compliance and credentialing documentation prior to start
