Job Title: RRT
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 4
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $49 – $53/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Lawton, Oklahoma. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a RRT:
• Examine patients with breathing issues, analyze blood/sputum, and conduct lung capacity tests
• Provide oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy to improve breathing
• Manage, set up, and operate mechanical ventilators for patients unable to breathe on their own
• Provide emergency care, including artificial respiration, bronchopulmonary hygiene, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Update patient records, consult with physicians on treatment plans, and assist with discharge planning
• Teach patients and families how to manage diseases and use home equipment
• Must have NICU and ED experience
