Job Title: Surgeon
Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 52-week assignment with the potential for extension.

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Surgeon for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 52-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Surgeon:
• Provide acute care trauma call coverage as a General Surgery / Surgical Critical Care Physician
• Perform 24-hour call shifts consisting of 12 hours primary call and 12 hours backup call
• Respond to all pages within 20 minutes
• No requirement to be in-house during call
• Collaborate with one APP designated for inpatient rounding
• Practice within a Level II trauma center environment
• Maintain Board Certification in General Surgery (required); Surgical Critical Care certification preferred
• Provide inpatient hospital-based care in an acute care setting
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
