Job Title: PTA
Location: Sacramento, California
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $46 – $49/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PTA for a temporary assignment in Sacramento, California. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PTA:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services as a travel PTA covering a planned leave• Work within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting with SNF experience strongly preferred• Manage a varied caseload and prioritize patient care in a fast-paced environment• Apply strong clinical reasoning skills in daily patient care delivery• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient care and progress• Communicate effectively with team members and other healthcare professionals• Demonstrate adaptability and a team-oriented approach in a collaborative rehab environment• Maintain valid state PTA licensure• Perform duties in alignment with facility policies and procedures
