Job Title: MED-SURG
Location: Newport, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $57 – $61/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Newport, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a MED-SURG:
• Provide professional nursing care to acutely ill adult patients in a Medical Surgical setting
• Care for patients requiring both emergent and elective surgery
• Maintain current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification
• Maintain current NIHSS certification
• Deliver the highest standards of professional patient care in collaboration with nurse assistants and other team members
• Pursue and maintain specialty certification in Medical Surgical Nursing as encouraged
• Provide a comprehensive submission including skills list, references, and relevant licensure/certifications/credentials
• Provide availability and preferred method of contact for interview scheduling
