Job Title: Mother-Baby
Location: Hilo, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $51 – $55/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Mother-Baby for a temporary assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Mother-Baby:
• Care for laboring mothers, assist with delivery, and provide immediate care of newborns and post-delivery care for mothers
• Operate and utilize fetal monitoring system (GE/Centricity)
• Utilize computerized Meditech system for documentation
• Maintain active State of Hawaii license prior to start of assignment
• Maintain current BLS and NRP certifications (required)
• Maintain STABLE and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications (recommended)
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of labor and delivery experience
• Work variable Day and Night shifts on 12-hour schedules (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation
• Fulfill scheduled 12-hour call at least once per month
• Arrive the Thursday before the start date to attend a required employee health appointment on Friday
