Job Title: PACU
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PACU for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PACU:
• Work 4 – 10 hour shifts plus call as required
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Provide PACU nursing care with demonstrated prior PACU experience
• Complete required skills checklist prior to submission
• Complete specialty competency exam, basic EKG exam, pharmacology exam, and core competencies upon onboarding
• Maintain valid state licensure verified through Nursys
• Comply with all health and immunization requirements including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza vaccine, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing
• Complete fit testing as required
• Provide 2 professional references prior to submission
• Submit to criminal background check
• Complete and maintain required compliance documentation including confidentiality agreements, employment verification, and orientation materials
• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
