Job Title: Interventional Cardiologist
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Schedule: 8:00AM – 4:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $358 – $386/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Interventional Cardiologist for a temporary assignment in Flagstaff, Arizona. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Interventional Cardiologist:
• Provide APP-level support across all hospital settings including floor consults and incoming STEMI cases
• Manage a caseload of approximately 13 patients per day
• Care for a patient population aged 55 and older
• Perform and respond to STEMI-related cases as required
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for clinical documentation
• Complete remote Cerner training/orientation (approximately 4 hours) prior to start date
• Maintain active Arizona license (IMLC only accepted)
• Maintain valid DEA registration
• Maintain board certification
• Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable specialty/setting
• Submit completed credentialing application within 7 days of receipt
• Provide up-to-date case logs reflecting consistent activity within the last 12 months
• Provide proof of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination status (exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
• Complete medical records in a timely manner and respond promptly to deficiency notifications
• Submit all timesheets and expenses within 30 days with required documentation
