Job Title: ED
Location: Nashua, New Hampshire
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $63/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ED for a temporary assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ED:
• Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all assigned areas
• Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history and current medical status
• Obtain and evaluate vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
• Participate in the planning and implementation of a written care plan under the direction of a Physician
• Perform standard assessments using basic equipment
• Administer medications with proper visual acuity and hand-eye coordination
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
• Maintain documentation in accordance with facility standards
• Adhere to patient safety standards as outlined in job analysis form
• Interact positively with team members and patients
• Respect patient culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care
• Accept constructive criticism and channel emotional reactions in a positive manner
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Maintain a current, valid New Hampshire Registered Nurse License or obtain eligibility
• Meet specialty area requirements as determined by the specific discipline
• Complete up to 16 hours of orientation as required
