Job Title: PCU
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $68 – $74/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a PCU for a temporary assignment in Warwick, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a PCU:
• Maintain current licensure verified through Nursys and License/Certificate Verification
• Complete CNE Skills Checklist prior to submission
• Complete CNE Specialty Competency Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Basic EKG Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Pharmacology Exam as part of onboarding
• Complete CNE Core Competencies as part of onboarding
• Maintain BSN qualification
• Comply with all health and immunization requirements including COVID-19 Vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual Fit Test requirements
• Maintain current 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) tuberculosis screening
• Provide 2 professional references covering comparable specialty and setting prior to submission
• Complete and submit CNE Profile prior to submission
• Complete CNE Work Attestation prior to submission
• Adhere to confidentiality standards as outlined in the Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement
• Complete First Look orientation packet as part of onboarding
• Provide employment verification documentation
• Obtain occupational health clearance prior to starting assignment
• Comply with COVID and flu policy requirements
• Provide valid Driver’s License or State ID
• Support increased patient census demands as assigned
