Job Title: RRT
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $81 – $88/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a RRT for a temporary assignment in Providence, Rhode Island. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a RRT:
• Provide respiratory therapy services in the NICU setting during night shift hours (7p-7:30a, 4x12s)
• Participate in weekend rotation as required
• Maintain active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through NBRC
• Maintain active Respiratory Therapist license (RI license or compact-eligible)
• Maintain current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications
• Utilize Epic EMR system for clinical documentation
• Apply a minimum of 1-2 years of recent NICU respiratory therapy experience in practice
• Submit required clinical references and credentialing documents for onboarding
• Comply with health and immunization requirements including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, and TB testing
• Complete required fit testing and occupational health clearance
• Adhere to facility confidentiality agreements and non-employee policies
• Complete required orientation and onboarding documentation prior to start
• Comply with background check and employment verification requirements
• Maintain valid state-issued photo identification
