Job Title: ICU
Location: Waimea, Hawaii
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $65 – $70/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ICU for a temporary assignment in Waimea, Hawaii. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ICU:
• Coordinate and provide care to meet the individualized, age-appropriate needs of pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations in the ICU/CCU
• Provide specialized services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:2 depending on acuity
• Provide after-hours PACU recovery support as needed
• Emergency room experience recommended
• Complete hospital orientation through HR and in-service, followed by unit orientation with nurse manager including 1-2 day shifts and 1-2 night shifts with a staff RN
• Complete orientation and competency binder as required
• Float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER to assist according to individual competency level
• Work 80 hours every 2 weeks; no exceptions
• Be open to working any shift; no exceptions
• Work holidays based on hours worked on the day of: New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day
