Job Title: L&D
Location: Aspen, Colorado
Schedule: 7:00PM – 7:00AM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $81 – $88/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a L&D for a temporary assignment in Aspen, Colorado. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a L&D:
• Provide patient care services as a Registered Nurse in a perinatal setting
• Maintain an unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or obtain prior to start date
• Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Maintain current Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP) certification
• Maintain current Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses – Fetal Heart Monitoring Intermediate (FHM) certification
• Maintain current STABLE Program – STABLE Learner (STABLE) certification
• Apply a minimum of 1 year of experience as a perinatal RN in the delivery of patient care
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation (preferred)
• Communicate effectively in a bilingual (Spanish/English) environment (preferred)
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Hold an Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) at minimum; Bachelor’s (BSN) or Master’s (MSN) in Nursing preferred
