Job Title: Psychiatrist
Location: Eugene, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 5:30PM x 2
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $206 – $222/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Eugene, Oregon. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:
• Provide inpatient psychiatric consultation and liaison (C&L) services in an inpatient hospital setting
• Perform rounding and admissions for adult patient populations
• See approximately 15-18 patients per day, with volume up to 20 patients on busy days
• Provide consultative services in a 32-bed inpatient unit
• Work collaboratively as part of a team (provider will not work solo)
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Hold and maintain a valid Oregon state license prior to expected start date
• Demonstrate provision of inpatient or consultative services for at least 30 patients during the past 24 months, or completion of a hospital-affiliated accredited residency, special clinical fellowship, or research within the past 12 months
• Provide case logs or quality profile from current hospital(s) demonstrating clinical activity for the last 24 months
• Utilize Epic charting system for clinical documentation (preferred)
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirements (required, no exemptions)
• Complete required orientation hours as part of onboarding
• Adhere to all credentialing, privileging, and compliance documentation requirements
• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and standards of patient care delivery
