Job Title: ER MED-SURG
Location: Corvallis, Oregon
Schedule: 7:00AM – 7:00PM x 3
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $59 – $64/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a ER MED-SURG for a temporary assignment in Corvallis, Oregon. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a ER MED-SURG:
• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department for patients with a wide variety of needs, ranging from non-critical to emergent medical conditions
• Deliver care for emergent and urgent mental health cases
• Care for patients arriving by walk-in or emergency transport
• Provide certified care for critical cardiac and trauma patients, including pediatric patients
• Maintain a current, unencumbered Oregon RN license
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification
• Maintain current ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications
• Provide verification of high school diploma or equivalent in compliance with College of American Pathologists (CAP) requirements for moderate complexity testing
