Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon
Location: Florence, Oregon
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 18-week assignment with the potential for extension.
Pay Rate: $354 – $381/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Orthopedic Surgeon for a temporary assignment in Florence, Oregon. These positions are 18-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a Orthopedic Surgeon:
• Provide inpatient hospital and clinic-based care for both adult and pediatric patient populations
• Perform rounding and admissions in an inpatient setting with 21 beds
• Manage an average of 2 hospital patients per day and 12-20 clinic patients per day
• Perform required ortho trauma procedures within scope of privileges
• Work independently in a solo provider capacity
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Maintain a valid Oregon state license, which must be in hand at time of presentation
• Demonstrate recent EPIC EMR experience within the last six months
• Provide documentation (case list) of clinical services provided to a minimum of 100 patients within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility where performed
• Complete 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Include 4 hours of gratis on-call coverage
• Comply with COVID-19 vaccine requirement; no exemptions accepted
