Job Title: CRNA
Location: Potsdam, New York
Schedule: 8:00AM – 5:00PM x 5
Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension
Pay Rate: $187 – $201/hr
Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a CRNA for a locum tenens assignment in Potsdam, New York. These positions are 13-week contracts with the ability to extend.
Responsibilities for a CRNA:
• Provide inpatient anesthesia services including OB, epidurals, and general anesthesia
• Schedule and manage surgical cases as needed
• May involve CRNA supervision
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Work comfortably in a rural, critical access setting
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 10-15 patients
• Provide weekday call coverage from 3p-7a
• Provide weekend call coverage from Friday at 7a through Monday at 7a
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA or RQI)
• Utilize Epic charting system for all documentation
• Maintain valid New York State license
• Maintain Board Certification (or board eligibility)
• Ensure work history is current with no gaps of 30 or more days
• Provide a physician statement if any malpractice history exists, dismissed or not
• Remain within a 20-minute radius of the facility while on call
